Therapy & Allied Health
Expert therapeutic support from qualified allied health professionals to help you reach your functional goals.

InLife partners with experienced allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based therapy services that make a real difference in participants' lives. Our therapy and allied health offering spans occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, psychology, and positive behaviour support — all coordinated to work together as part of a holistic approach to your health, wellbeing, and functional goals.
Occupational therapy is one of our most sought-after services. Our OTs work with participants to improve independence in daily activities, from self-care and meal preparation to handwriting and workplace tasks. They conduct functional assessments, recommend assistive technology and equipment, provide home modification advice, and develop programs to build fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and executive functioning. Whether a child needs help with school readiness or an adult is recovering from an injury, our occupational therapists develop practical, goal-oriented plans.
Physiotherapy at InLife focuses on movement, strength, and physical function. Our physiotherapists assess mobility, develop exercise programs, provide hydrotherapy referrals, and work with participants on pain management, posture, balance, and falls prevention. For participants with physical disabilities or neurological conditions, ongoing physiotherapy can be transformative — maintaining range of motion, preventing secondary complications, and building the physical confidence needed to engage fully in daily life.
Speech pathology services address communication and swallowing needs across the lifespan. Our speech pathologists support children with language delays, adults with acquired communication difficulties, and participants who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. They also assess and manage dysphagia, ensuring safe eating and drinking practices. Clear communication is central to self-determination, and our speech pathologists are committed to giving every participant a voice.
Our psychology and positive behaviour support (PBS) services help participants and families navigate emotional wellbeing, mental health challenges, and behaviours of concern. Our psychologists provide individual counselling, anxiety and depression management, and trauma-informed care. Our behaviour support practitioners develop comprehensive behaviour support plans that are person-centred, evidence-based, and focused on building skills rather than restricting behaviour. Every PBS plan includes restrictive practice reduction strategies and is compliant with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
All therapy services can be delivered in the participant's home, at our clinic, in schools, or in community settings — whichever is most comfortable and effective. Our allied health team works collaboratively, sharing insights and coordinating care to ensure every participant receives integrated, consistent support across all areas of their plan.
What We Provide
Who Is This For?
Therapy and Allied Health services are designed for NDIS participants who have functional goals related to movement, communication, daily living skills, emotional wellbeing, or behaviour. This includes children with developmental delays or autism, adults with physical disabilities or neurological conditions, people recovering from acquired injuries, and participants whose behaviour support needs require specialist intervention. If your NDIS plan includes Capacity Building or Improved Daily Living funding, these services may be available to you.
